SLI 1080ti on 1151 socket

Is it possible to SLI any 10 series GPUS (1050 through to 1080ti)  on a 1151 socket CPU as they are all 16 pcie GPUS and the CPUS are all 16 pcie so would I need a CPU  with 32 pcie because 2 GPUS make 32 pcie needed? P.S no idea about pcie so this is a learning curve

yes for SLI you need 2 x8 PCIe slots (if your board has 2 x16 slots it will work)

note that only 1070 and up support SLI

No, the i7-7700K has 16 lanes so it would run in a x8/x8 configuration. The Z270 chipset offers a further 24 lanes.

On a side note, don't buy the i7-7700K when Coffee Lake is right around the corner.
