Anyone know how to stop steam from updating arma 3?

Theminecraftaddict555

Since arma 3 updates tend to break mods and scenarios, are there any way to ensure that steam NEVER updates arma 3? So far I ensured that the game only auto updates between 5-6 am

There is also this method i have tried:

Will this stop the updates too?

You can launch the game in offline mode every time but otherwise there's nothing.

I've never had a problem with the base game arma being the sole reason my scenarios are breaking.

Are you using playwithsix or arma sync with your mods?

No i am not using arma sync or playwithsix with my mods at all...

It seems that arma 3 updates tend to break even slightly modded scenarios or mods that make a small change in the game. Especially the orange dlc

One for sure down and dirty way would be to pull the ethernet cable from your machine.  Works every time.

To answer the question posed in OP, uninstall arma 3.

I make bad life decisions.
