ohm, 250, 32, 600

I decided to buy the DT 880 Premiums from Beyerdynamic

but idk what ohm rating to get. I will use them on my pc at home (motherboard is a z97-GD65 from msi) and use it on my laptop and school computers as well as the scarlett 2i2 we have in our recording studio.

 

what ohm rating should I get ? I need to know as soon as possible. thanks !

TL;DR, Not 32 ohm, and 600 ohm is too beast. 250 ohm might be questionable.

I would grab the 600 ohm's if your only using that at home which he is

School computers and laptop is the issue. They might not even be able to drive the 250 properly.

With the 2i2 he should be fine.In that scenario the only option is 32 ohms

There drivers are glitchy as hell and very unreliable when you use them a lot

The 2i2 isnt his. It's property of his schools recording studio (i assume)

32 ohm is pretty much only option then
