Adaptive Mode and Cinebench?

What do you mean by Adaptive mode?

the adaptive mode that lowers VCORE when the system doesn't need a certain amount of voltage, everyone says that AVX instruction type software can produce unwanted spikes in adaptive mode (instead of manual) so pretty much what im asking here is does cinebench use AVX instruction and is it safe to run while in adaptive mode?
