G403

G303

Rival 310

Deathadder elite (Got a friend testing it, told me the top hump is a little taller than the original DA Chroma. Other than that hes has no issues with tracking, or quality control issues, says most of the problems in the Chroma was fixed on the elite.)

Laptops are bad quality

Never tried one of their laptops, so I wouldn't know.

Audio gear is bad

I tried one of their headsets at a store, I didn't like the sound signature (to bassy) but audio quality is subjective.

Cutting corners everywhere (using Khail switches instead of CherryMX, mouse buttons)

Is there anywhere that states that Khail is inferior to Cherry?  I prefer Cherry myself.

Bad support

I have never had to contact Razer support, but I could see bad support as a reason to not like a company.

Infamous double click issues on DeathAdder

I never knew about this issue, thanks for telling me about it.

Most of the budget is marketing, not actual products

They do have a lot of marketing behind their products, that doesn't necessarily make them bad though.

More money in marketing can add cost to the products though, thus making them overpriced.

I'm not really sure why Razer gets so much hate, their products, for the most part, seem to be pretty good quality.

Problems I had with my razer naga.

Double click

When I hold left it randomly lets go

Their software has acceleration which I didnt know how to turn off for the first 2 months. Its their tracking statistics thing in sympanse.

Inaccurate

Why is their naga glossy, I hate glossy finishes.

The kraken is literal aids, the cup shape is only towards some people with small ears.

Driver quality on it is also terrible.

Khail switches aren't that shit. Just people who circlejerk cherry say "oh everyone who copied cherry's patents must have shit switches". that is false, if you can get true khail quality switches, they're great, its just subjective for how they feel, as khail gateron, greetech and mx's all feel different.

As for Razer support, although i RMA'd my Deathadder like 3 times, all 3 rma experience were a breeze, their customer support really wasnt bad in my experience.

I just found out about the double click issues.  Obviously, I don't have said issues.

How bad are they?

I never really liked Razer's software, it feels intrusive.

I've never had accuracy problems, but I don't use high DPIs ether.

Mine is matte.

Audio quality and comfort is subjective, although build quality isn't.

That's what I thought, although I prefer cherry, I have found nothing wrong with Khail switches.

Yeah you can call $5 walmart sound quality subjective, like anyone would want that in a headset.....

They are around 4 times a day. The worse part isnt the double click its when I hold left and it lets go on screen.

When something "sounds bad" usually most will agree, however tolerance of said "bad sound quality" can vary greatly.

Some people (like you) will say that the Kraken sounds like aids, while others will say it's tolerable, and others will say it's alright, and few will say that they will really like it.

Nobody is wrong in that regard, it is all their preference.

And yes, I have met some people that prefer to buy $5 Walmart earbuds, they cannot justify paying more for "better sounding" headphones when the $5 earbuds work just fine for them.

That actually sounds quite frustrating.

My friend who used to be a huge Razer fanboy owns a pair of them.

The audio volume notch is broken so the headphones will randomly go to 100% and earblast his ass

(He's got BW Chroma, DA Chroma and he now has a SteelSeries QcK+ and swaps between his ATH-M50X's and Bose QC25s, with a Blue Yeti Blackout on a mic stand)

idk

That is when the headphones go into the garbage.
