A question about the VRM issues that EVGA cards had last year.

Skanky Sylveon

I purchased an EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 recently, I haven't been able to use it yet (no motherboard).

I was wondering if I should be concerned about VRM issues, my guess is no, i'm sure the problem has been fixed, and that I didn't receive an old card.

Please do correct me if i am wrong however.

not really except you live somewhere hot, next time you want to replace the thermal paste, just order a pack of thermal pads to add t hem

Define "hot", summers can get over 100f where I live.
