Hi I am looking for a budget audio system, for £50 - £100 I am considering the Creative gigaworks t20 series II, as they have good reviews and are on sale on amazon for only £56. I do not have extensive speaker knowledge and have mainly based my analysis on reviews so I would like to know the views, alternate suggestions and recommendations of anyone with decent audio knowledge, I would also like to know if I should add a sub-woofer to this setup and if so what you would recommend.

P.S. I am primarily interested in sound quality in games

PPS I know this is a relatively tight budget but I have spent most of my money on my pc so I simply do not have the money to exceed my maximum budget

Maybe not the most helpful response but in that price range your best bet is to just stick with something simple, that has the connectivity you're looking for and has good enough reviews. Down the road when you decide to upgrade and put more $$ into the system then maybe look into testing different things out in person. But for now what ever is available to you, at a good price and works with your system is just about as good as anything else. I can say from personal experience that I really enjoyed my Klipsch 2.1 Pro Media set as my first "nice" computer speakers. A little out of your price range but a generally affordable option to get you started if you decide to save up a little more.
