I got most my parts in so decided to start a build log.

All I need is a GPU. Waiting on a guy to get back to me about a Titan X (Maxwell). If that doesn't go well my backup is to get a 1080 next paycheck.

 

Sorry for some blurry pictures. Just waiting on the mail man to arrive and I can start building to test it. (Using a 1060 as a temp gpu).

The build is 99% done. Just need to upgrade the GPU and I will be satisfied. And stay tuned for that.

Also, excuse the what looks like shitty cable management, I will be fixing that in the near future with some help from Cable Mod

Working gamecubes run cheaper than current console games, though those can be over priced regardless...

If I ever do a retro build, I will be ripping the guts out of one. Only for it to be used solely with the Dolphin emulator.

Now we just need to cram this amount of power into an Nintendo GameCube and my emulating dreams will be completed.
