LED Strip... issue?

Hey guys, I recently bought an RGB Led Strip from Phanteks (it took me a lot to find one in my country) and everything was okay until I saw what you're seeing in the pictures, it belongs to the same strip.

It does work, but my question is, is there any problem if I keep it that way? The thing that covers the leds and the strip is kinda broken/open as you can see but it works perfectly fine.

I'm asking this, not because I'm lazy, but because it took me a lot to find it and it took me a lot as well to get it delivered to where I live in.

I would guess it's mostly fine, and probably an easy DIY fix if it is a problem

That's just a water resistant sleeve they put over the LED strips, and it's not a problem to use it.

Is there a way to solve it myself? Some transparent tape?

Oh, I didn't knew it was a water resistant sleeve, looks gooey tho, maybe some transparent tape would work as a fix?

Yes some tape or clear adhesive like silicone will work, if you want to cover it back over. In a PC it would be more about dust I guess more than anything else.

I'll cover it with some tape for now until I get some silicone adhesive, that seems the better solution, for now I'll go with the tape, hahahaha, thanks a lot man, again
