Hello

My monitor screen was going black for a few seconds every now and again (5 to 15 min intervals) specially when I was playing. Now it only shows a blank screen and "No Signal" message like if I had pulled the HDMI cable out.

I have already tried Turning OFF/ON and change the HDMI cable. The monitor seems to be working fine, but I don't have another place to test the PC.

My PC build is a Geforce GTX 560 (by Zotac), an Intel i5 (can't remember its full name), an Asus motherboard, 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance ram and 750w Corsair power supply. Everything was bought back in November of 2011 and I know is time to upgrade.

P.S. The more I think about, the more I think the screen was going blank instead of black before it stopped working. A week has passed since it happened and I can't shake the doubt away.

sounds like a GPU problem. try the iGPU and see if the problem persists, check and replug all the cables. If you have a friend that could test the gpu in his system would be a good thing to try. Also try cleaning the gpu maybe its dusty and overheating.

GPU drivers giving you a hard time? Try this! (DDU)
