Laggy mouse issues.

Hi, I've had an issue with my mouse (Mad Catz R.A.T.TE) for a while now and it's started having tracking issues. Only while on the desktop. In games it's perfectly fine. So not the laser thing. Must be software. I've tried reinstalling drivers. It's really bugging me. Thanks
