I want better wifi connection in the bedroom my office will be all wired , I plan tp change my cat 5E to Cat 6 I want to spend under 400.00 I have 2 bedrooms and a living room to be wireless.

For what your doing there will be no practical difference between cat5e or cat6. You only really need cat6 if you are running 10gbit Ethernet.

Also you can run the management software on a desktop (it's only needed to config the aps). So the only cost you really need are 2 aps and 2 poe injectors.

Yes. It would work.
