Laptop suggestions for under $300 for note taking? (Canada)

Hi, I need a laptop for note taking in school. I plan to only use google drive (through chrome, this will be the program ill be using 90% of the time on this laptop), Microsoft office, excel, eclipse, and photoshop.

 

My only personal requirements are:

-less than $300 ideally, I don't have a super strict budget but I don't need an AMAZING pc, its literally just for typing up .txt files. I already have 2 desktop gaming and work rigs.

-over 10 inch screen

-decent keyboard (numpad not required but preferred)

-Windows 10 OR 7!!! I really dislike chrome OS, don't hate on me, i'm sorry.

 

I also wouldn't mind if it were slim, or lightweight. I live in Ontario if that helps!

I dislike Chrome OS but it runs a hell of a lot better on a $300 lappy to the point where I massively prefer it too Windows

Get a Chromebook with a decent wifi card and just remote access your desktop(s).

 

Simple as that.

It's hard to find a decent computer with a good screen at that price (the screen would be useful for your Photoshop work). It's one or the other for the most part.

 

Solutions like these may be in your budget, but do inspect the screen yourself to see if they would suffice.

That's 305 and 304 USD respectively. If you're talking CAD, it's gonna be quite a bit more difficult.
