First time builder looking for opinions and encouragement

basically I'm build my first ever gaming/editing Rig, I've been in pc world for quite a long time now, checking forums watching videos etc, but now is the time to build a real pc instead of the old one I'm using. here is the list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Mv2s2R as the title says I'm looking for opinions, thanks

I say go with a Seagate Barracuda 2TB or 3TB. Reason being is that they are a much better value than the WD Blue 1TB HDD, especially the 3TB drive. They are actually a little faster in some areas.

I already have the hard drive, I will probably invest money later on for a SSD as mentioned below

I'm in agreement with @SkaTim, @mrbilky, and @lee32uk. 

If your budget allows, get an SSD in there. Go with something like an 850 Evo if you want to pay that much.

If your photo editing or heavy workloads I would not make it my second choice it would be my first and put an hdd in later, I Don't game so not sure how that gets affected

unless you have a really big ssd it gets filled really fast by windows and games.

According to his pcpartpicker list he already has an hdd but video editing is brutal with just an hdd an ssd would serve him well
