Headphones extensions?

I got a cheap cable just like this for my Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm and connecting to my onboard audio (with or without the extension) doesn't make a difference in quality for myself.

Of course your mileage may vary with these type of cheap cables, but that is what I can tell you about my experience.

as long as you dont go completly bananas on the length there shouldnt be a problem. 

Stay under 5m and avoid coiling it up when in use and you should eb golden.

 

If you want to spend a little more oyu could get two of those bluetooth tranceivers and be untethered completly

As long as it is a stereo extension it shouldn't affect quality, you will just need to turn up volume slightly.
