WMA file type incompatibility
Either get a different player as Huilun02 suggested (PowerAmp would be my first choice), or use fre:ac (http://www.freac.org/) to convert your files. I haven't used fre:ac with .wma, but I've done several other conversions with it and never had any problems with album art and other metadata. And it's free and open-source.
