Hi, my friend forgot his windows password. I try whit Passcape, but it give me wrong pass becuse i got the demo version and it seems it wont help if u dont pay de 60 dolars it cost. So im looking for others free solutions beside format the disk and intaling widows again (which would be a pain in the a##, becouse im not good at doing that and i dont have money to take it to some technician). Sorry for my English, it must be painfull to read me.

I used Parted Magic on a USB Drive to bypass Windows Passwords and it works perfectly each time.

Here is a link that details how to download and mount Parted Magic onto a USB Drive. Once you've done so, you'll have to re-arrange your boot priority so that it boots from the USB.

Removing Windows passwords is located under the 'Rescue' sub-section. If you struggle, google how to remove Windows passwords with Parted Magic and it'll give you a step-by-step run through of how to do so.

I was gonna link it as well, but I was unsure of the rules on this forum regarding this. Also, if the method provided by Windows7ge does not work, try using the "Offline NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 Password Changer" option instead. Works with 8 and 10 as well.

Quote me in replies so I see them.
