Assuming they are both nano-sim, technically it would work, but I don't know if any telecommunications provider has ever checked their network to see if the SIM card registered to that phone corresponds to the IMEI of the phone.

You could switch it then, I'm sure you'll be fine, I highly doubt phone providers even check this stuff most of the time anyway.

Your phone number is synced to your SIM card. If you call Sprint they're going to ask you why you're switching phones. If you want to switch phones with the SIM card you don't need to call the company. They'll think you sold the phone and if you're under contract, they'll probably make you pay the remainder of the phone.

Don't call them. Just swap the SIM cards.

Not sure how Sprint is. I know anything on their network 3G and below is CDMA. Not sure how that will play out. As CDMA phones dont rely on SIM cards. 4G LTE is a GSM standard which is why the OP has a SIM. So, the OP might have to contact Sprint. I would assume that they should be able to do this over the phone. Though I would just try switching the SIM and seeing what happens. Please post the results as I am kinda interested in what happens.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
