Tell us your system spec first.

 

If it's this one in your old post:

Then you are looking at the i7-4770k or 4790k. Otherwise you will have to get new motherboard, RAM and CPU as a whole.

I currently have a

 

i5 4690k 

gtx 1080 

650 power supply

If by upgrade you mean keep your mother board then I agree with the 4790K upgrade.  If you are looking to just keep your case, storage  and PSU then Ryzen 7 is the best for the things you want to do. 

Is that the 1700x or 1800x
