PC keeps turning off spontaneously

Hey Guys, bit of tech support trouble here. My father has a computer for work that I built for him (although he adds SSDs, and other things for testing with). The computer randomly spontaneously shuts down when any USB device is plugged into any of the USB ports. It also turns off 1-2 minutes into booting, whether we're booting off a standard SSD, booting off linux installation flash drive or just sitting in the BIOS. I think its the motherboard, because I've had some trouble with Gigabyte boards in the past, just like a second opinion on it. Specs: Intel Core i7 6700k @ stock | Cooler Master GeminII M4 | Gigabyte Z170N-WiFi | Swapping between Sandisk Ultra II and Samsung 850 Evo | Integrated Graphics | Silverstone ML07 | Silverstone SX600g | Mellanox 100Gb/s NIC

Gigabyte boards are generally solid. Does this apply to all USB ports? Back I/O and front panel ones.

Yeah it does it with both.

I'm suspecting that its the motherboard because I've recently had a Gigabyte X58 die on me, and I'm pretty sure that the PSU I bought is high quality.

Edit: Currently swapping out the PSU for testing.
