installing windows on new hard drive

hi there I have windows on a hard drive that is 512gb and I want to install it on the my new smaller hard 250gb I have windows on a usb any tips on how to do this plz as it just keeps trying to install bk on the big one

I unplugged all drives apart from the new one but it wont install i get this message

If you're sure that's the drive you want to reinstall Windows on, use "Delete" on both entries, then select "New" and Windows should make what it needs.

I even formatted it 1st i try it now
