So I did put in a drain valve on my loop but draining it has been a pain, I've had to shake it all around and almost hold the pc above my head at one stage!

Was I meant to run the pump whilst I drained it? Obviously not to run the pump dry...

i guess the orientation of my radiators with the ports up didn't help.

Redoing the loop in an Enthoo Pro m so I'll have more space, what should I do differently this time to make draining easier.

I know your pain, its at the lowest point which will help, but ye, you have to move it around. I normally attach a tube to the top of the res and "blow through it"

Did you open one of the ports on the reservoir when you were draining?

I hook up my compressor and blow it all out. Drain valve wouldn't work on my rig unless I had like 5.

Just have to buy a compressor :-)

got it all emptied and ready for cleaning in the end, wasn't THAT hard.

Definitely considering going with clear fluid next time tho, there is red all over the place.

If you want, you should look at the video JayzTwoCents made recently about this. And To me, its the best way to do it.  Granted it wont take all of the fluid out, but it works since all you would have felt is just distilled water, which wont harm your coolant at all.
