Hi. I was just wondering how TV channels that play many different programs that are right in front of each other. Do they stick it in a giant playlist? Or are there people sitting around a desk fading it out to commercial break every 2 minutes. Just wondering!

i think its playlisted for most of them but for commercial between live news some one does it manually but i could be wrong

Mainly automated. But I think most bigger channels have someone watching that nothing breaks 24/7. You don't want to have pr0n during morning cartoons. Again.
