Fair Use is a permission granted to explicitly allow you to break copyright laws if you make a criticism of a work, a parody of a work or otherwise add an opinion or news reporting of work.

I just wanted to double check with you guys first.

I want to make a Parody video sort of Mocking Apple in a meme way (like you do etc with Bee movie memes and such).

Apple is very careful with their wording.....

My questions  are: how much modification is required to constitute fair use? how much of the original am I allowed to use without it being considered copyright infringement? and, am I allowed to use Apple's WWDC and Keynote videos in a parody video?

Thanks :).

You can copy and make changes to whatever video you got that from as long as you Aren't rebroadcasting an unchanged video in its entirety you should be fine, so Cutting it overlaying stuff and making fun of it counts as a parody and should be OK

I did watch a video explaining the Judge's findings but I'm baffled by Apple's legalese....

Oh and btw, I'm not planning on monetizing any videos anytime soon.

Idk if that changes anything regarding Fair Use.

Don't hold me to this but from what I understand fair-use can overrule Apple's legalese. To a certain extent.

Your video must not mislead consumers into thinking you are apple and it must not compete with apple.

LMAO.

10/10.

I am not Apple and I will not confuse anybody into believing I am Apple. Nor will my video compete in the market of the Apple video :D.

There use to be a popular show on YouTube that reviewed viral videos. It ran for a few years and I never heard of infringement against it
