iPod Touch forgot passcode

Hi.

I haven't used my ipod touch in 2-3 years (its running some form of ios7 i believe) and i forgot the passcode.

 

I have many precious childhood pictures on it and would like to save those pictures and have to therefore bypass the passcode.

Sadly, none of the online methods work. Here is what i have tried:

 

Backup in itunes: asks me to authenticate the device and i cant do that if i cant unlock it

Control center bypass: no control center is seen on the unlock screen which renders this bypass useless

 

I hope that there is a way to recover the pictures (or just access them so i can take pictures of the pictures).

Please help!

There is no official apple store where i live (austria).

Can you call their customer service they might be able to do it remotely

Apple Care customer support will not be able to help you with that issue. If nothing on the web helped you bypass the passcode, there is no other possibility to recover your data.

Take it to your local Apple Store with proof of ownership, they will help you.

OP did mention there is no Apple Store where he lives...

called apple and they said they could do nothing for me  oh well
