Well I've done it. Against all odds: fixed the f***ed up PXE boot, installed a new hard drive, and installed windows 10. Oh shit my validation key is only good for windows 7 premium...59a3c00ae3a98_areyoukiddingme.png.2effc2f1e36bbeaa3039082aa1d14022.png

Well If I did it once I can do it again.Challenge-Accepted-Meme.jpg.fd330439acf392a099025daf25d043c8.jpg Alright there I am navigating menus, disabling stuff left and right, formatting like a boss, cable management didn't even stand a chance against me. Then bam. The keyboard start making a beeping noise. I restart my magic box of pain frustration and copper. Everything seems to be going fine then there it was. Beep it came from the motherboard beeper thingy doodad.are-you-kidding-me-meme-fb-cover.jpg.9698e789a5b7cb423534e4e2451d7213.jpg

. I tried using a legacy keyboard, nothing. I tried clearing my cmos, nothing, unplug everything but gpu and ram(pc doesn't have onboard video)... nothing. I even... no It's to shameful... I called tech support. It's not a motherboard error code... so Any ideas?

So umm.....How does a keyboard beep? Have you dried using it in another computer, chances are when you where disabling "stuff" you somehow removed the keyboard.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

not the keyboard the built in motherboard beeper and no in fact I have set to enable usb 3.0 support as well. this isn't the issue though problems were occurring even before I tried that. I should mention that I'm pretty sure its the mobo but intel doesn't keep records for shit.

Right ok. Reset the CMOS again, take the mobo battery out for 5-10 minutes; and then try a different USB port and then another installation of windows, even if its an unactivated copy on another drive.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Try another keyboard. I suspect a faulty USB port.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

if only I even tried getting a pci-e usb expander and using that. The last time I got it to work I had to move the front panel usb connector to the next slot over.
