Overclocking a 1080TI FE (on water)

Heyo!

I'm looking to get myself an EK A240G for my build and I'm thinking of getting a 1080TI Founder's edition to save on cost (versus buying from AIB's(?)). Is overclocking a 1080TI FE gonna yield the same or close to AIB manufacturer cards in terms of clock speed etc?

Pretty close, if not the same.

on air/water, the VRM quality might give you + 30Mhz, but not much more than that.

on more serious stuff, ,like LN2, VRM quality really matters a lot.
