PS4 or XONE controller for PC?

Murilo_A

My PS3 controller broke, so I was searching for a new one, the XOne is fully compatible with the PC, but it costs more (including PC adapter) and I'm more used to the PS layout, on the other hand, the PS4 should work with bluetooth wo extra adapters, but it's not officially compatible (AFAIK) and I'm not sure if it would work with my Bluetooth Headphone connected at the same time. Any suggestions?

it depends on you they both work but most games will give a Xbox button layout with a few exceptions

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

I'm used to the buttons, I'm wondering more if it works just fine or if I'll have to install something, those things

Xbox will have better support because microsoft owns xbox but for the most part a ps4 controller will work. I prefer an xbox controller

if you have the drivers installed they both work fine except the while gaming with a ps4 controller still will show you which button to push if you have a Xbox controller which is ferry irritating because in every game its different

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

Don't really like the 360 controller, and I'll have to buy an adapter anyway, so I prefer the One

if you don't have a half hour to instal drivers buy the official receiver

I'd go with the One controller. You can find them in Bluetooth or Wireless (via dongle) varieties.

Like I said, there's one for Bluetooth (updated version) and another for the dongle (original).

I included a link for the Bluetooth.

The Bluetooth headset would connect to the machine [(Xbox One or PC)], not the controller. Also, you do need a Bluetooth adapter to use it as one isn't included in the box.

No, but obviously you could still just pair those to your PC as well. The newer (newer being anything after the launch controller) controllers all have a 3.5mm headphone jack, but if you use one of those I think your range gets cut down to something like 10 feet before the audio drops.

Yes, I know that, I have a Bluetooth adapter, I'm asking if it works with the headphone connected at the same time

Most Bluetooth adapters (good ones like the Asus and higher) can support four simultaneously. Bluetooth 4.0 can support eight, I believe, but most manufacturers still state four devices max.

Make sure you post a Member Review of the setup so that we can link to it. That's if you want to.
