Dead Motherboard, Right?

Building a system for a friend, and it won't post.

- Ryzen 1400

- 16GB GEIL 2400Mhz RAM

- Asrock A320 Motherboard

- GTX 1070

- Corsair CX450

 

Already tried:

 

Swapping out PSU

Swapping out GPU

Booting with one RAM stick

Trying all RAM stick and all DIMM slots combinations

Cleared CMOS (Through battery removal and jumper)

 

It just boot loops over and over.

This is probably a motherboard problem, right?

I'll probably have a chance to test out the RAM to see if it works later today, but I don't have any DDR4 systems with me right now, so I cant.

Hi, Shut it down all the way, And let it boot for 10 secs then turn it off. Do it 5 times.

Pull out the CMOS Battery and wait 30. Then put it back in.

Forgot to mention I'd already cleared CMOS.

Doing it again just to make sure, but it 99% won't work.

I'd assume the motherboard is dead, since CPUs usually aren't dead. right?

RMA Both. Sometimes the chip could be dead.

Troubleshooted with my uncle's AM4 system this morning. neither are dead. it's the RAM.
