New internet poor?

So got a new router today. Right next to router i get 70Mbps, not bad for the 1st day but when i go upstairs im down to 5Mbps

 

Last router we had was 50 all around the house, why is this, im guessing its because its the first day and they are still setting up? Or is it not like that

Testing ISP speed tests should be done with ethernet, as anything else could be due to wireless problems and not the ISPs domain.
