Help with crashes!

I really need some help. When I'm playing playing certain games (Mostly source engine games.) I get a black screen with lighter grey stripes, it happens completely randomly, some nights I can go all night with out it and others it happens 5 minutes into the game. I don't know what to do my computer specs are

CPU- AMD FX 6100

GPU- Radeon 7700 sapphire

Motherboard- Asus M5a97 AM3+

PSU- CM GX 750 watt

Memory- generic memory that came out of an old HP computer

My two main suspects are either the PSU or the GPU because i started happening whenever I installed those.

That is a Vram issue.

Have you overclocked your Sapphire?

If you have then just lower the Memory speed.

If not, then RMA the card.

Do you have access to another video card? Try using a different card for a while or put your card into another machine and see if you still have the problem,

Thanks man for the help I had a friend bring me his old video card and I'm just sending the 7770 back to newegg for a replacement.
