Worth it? - $200-$225

Hey everyone, I've got a friends friends friend who wants to sell of his brand new unused open box Evga Gtx 1060 6gb FTW for $200-$225 CAD to me.

He says he never even used it because it didn't fit in his pre-made system he bought apparently. 

 

Would you buy it at that price? Worth it?

They cost ~$405 CAD in Canada.

It is but I think you should test it first in your rig. You dont want to have a bad gpu on your hands!

If you can use it, why not? 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

I haven't made/built my rig yet though. Parts coming in next month.

I've seriously got no way to test it.

I recently moved so got 0 friends around me to test it on their rigs.

I would say it's still worth the risk.Or maybe you can take it to a computer repair shop or a NCIX or something and they'll do it for you.What city you in

Not if it doesn't work. If it does, it's a pretty good deal right now. I'd test it before exchanging any money. This may just be me being paranoid, but I don't trust people as a general rule.
