How can I wake up my Raspberry PI via phone/webcam?

Aztec

Hey, I've created a 'smart mirror' with a raspberry pi. Looks awesome and works great however, I'm worried about screen burn since I'm using an lcd/led monitor. I want it so that when I walk up to the mirror, it wakes up. I've disabled the sleep mode and I'm running the default OS. If I can't get that to work is there any way to send it to sleep/wake up with the Amazon echo via IFTTT or a widget on my phone. Thanks!

"screen burn" died with CRT and plasma screens AFAIK - you can run LCD monitors 24/7 without damage
