Installing Windows. Multiple complications pls help.

Ok so i have a question that might solve all theese to come, If you put in a new HDD and you put in a USB with windows on it, If the usb is corrupt and windows isn't on it, Will the computer keep booting to bios?

Now im very confused if that's not true, I installed windows a few months ago and i tried installing it once and it worked then i reset and i forgot it was in so it got all messed up and it would keep booting to bios i got a new HDD and i thought it would fix it. Sadly it didn't so what could be the problem? should i just reinstall windows on the usb? Thanks!!

when you turn your computer on, it will look for a window installation, if it doesnt find one, itll usually end up at the Bios. it sounds like your windows install got messed up, and when you installed your new HDD, you actually put windows on it.

reinstall windows, you'll be fine. (but please dont install it onto the usb, install it onto your HDD)

what if there's no bootable usb/hdd will it just keep going to bios

It'll go to a screen that says "please insert boot-able media and press any key to continue" to get to BIOS spam the "Del" key when booting
