So I want to know if I should just buy the B350 and invest the rest of my budget on a better Graphics card or if I should just go with the X370? I just wanna record gaming videos and upload them on youtube or stream on twitch while gaming.

Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter.

well.... that's arguable. I'd still recommend B350 to be clear but you should be aware of all the drawbacks. it's not just SLI, they have weaker VRM (all B350 boards) and they get BIOS updates much later which was an issue originally with compatibility fixes but shouldn't come into play anymore.

The VRM situation make them borderline for overclocking the Ryzen 7 chips. they won't be hitting 4GHz but you'll still get 3.8 3.9 on anything lower than Ryzen 7 you'll be A-OK.

it's totally worth the cost saving to get yourself a more powerful GPU. cause you'll feel that difference much more than the 100MHz you gained or what ever

Then get b350, as long as it satisfies your VRM needs (dont get MSI gaming pro, biostar, or gigabyte with no heatsinks).

I don't really know how to overclock and I'd rather not do anything that will fuck things up. What Mhz ram should be the highest on a B350?

oh with CL14 kit you'll be able to push it to 2966 with one of the built in suggested profiles. do you have a specific colour scheme you'd prefer?

Color Scheme? Does that affect gaming performance or video rendering? If not then I don't have any xD.

For the price of a decent looking B350 Board you can just get a X370 board that looks way better and has more usb and such for 10 dollars.

no the VRM is the same but as this guy says with that board as an option B350 makes quite a bit less sense

Asus boards are the best, ASRock second, high-end gigabyte third.

If you have R7, don't go with MSI/Most gigabyte/B350s from Asus aren't optimal either

Really good and pretty cheap mobo is the Asus X370 Prime Pro.

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM
