My last build

So, I've "finished" upgrading my build for the moment.

It's been constantly evolving since August 2011, always keeping some components.

I started with an AMD Phenom II X4 955, and Gigabyte 560Ti, changed case from a Thermaltake Commander to a Fractal Design Define XL, then passed to i5 3570K, upgraded to 7950, changed again case and here I am with this beauty :

i5 3570k @4.3GHz

2*4Gb DDR3 GSkill OC@1866

Sapphire R9 290 with stock blower

Seasonic P760

Corsair Air 540 

Extras : Bitfenix Alchemy Connect, Zalman MFC3.

 

Photos : those are from the 7950 build. I'll take the R9 ones tomorrow :

Planned upgrades :

Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme 3 Cooler on the powerful, but hot and noisy R9 290.

 

 

So what do you guys think about my build ? Any advice ?

I would water cool that 290.

I'd do it too if I did have the money. 

 

 

You better get that 3rd party GPU cooler quick!
