OC with ryzen 1700

Hello I changed my CPU ratio in the BIOS to 3.7 ghz and 1.2 volts for cpu voltage but after saving it and rebooting even though it is still in the BIOS configuration windows and even CPU-Z does not detect the increase in the clock speed but  the configuration is still saved in the BIOS. I'm using MSI Krait Gaming x370 with g skill Trident RGB 16gb with 3000mhz. Please help me

It is way to early to OC a Ryzen CPU, let them first fix the constant contability issues that are for ever in AMD.

if I see a stable OC in AMD CPU it will be in the far future (imo)

Are you putting the system under load when you are checking the clock speed? Make sure the windows power profile is set to high performance.

Try increasing vcore to 1.3-1.35V.

How many weeks does a system need to be running at under full load to call it stable?

The only crashes I get on my Ryzen system are have been traced to driver failures related to the killer network card on the motherboard, and it is typically 3-4 weeks between crashes.

This motherboard doesn't have asphalt-ripping VRMs, stay under 1.4V

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

I Tried switching the power profile and applying up to 1.3 but there is no change
