PC Setup, Shelf?

evoloan

Hey! I Was thinking on reworking my setup. I now have the PC mounted on the wall, some real DIY mod but it works. Only thing is that the cable management is really hard to keep hidden.

What I was thinking was if I put the case on top of a shelf above the monitors. And then drilled a hole and ran the cables down behind the monitors. Or do you guys have an suggestion to improve the overall setup?

(Sorry if this is the wrong forum section)

Thanks in advance

hmm that would be interesting. I think you should take it a step further though, get rid of the case and build it into the shelf somehow. Like a wall pc but idk different xD

That could work! :) Or maybe even build a water cooling system in to the wall with the pump intergreated in the wall :D Only problem is that the wall is concrete :/

Is that an IKEA Shelf? If so I have done exactly this, those shelf's can't take the wheight of a PC on their own. I stuck mg GF's PC on one of the IKEA shelfs and it dropped about 1cm. We had to install metal L brackets under the shelf to reinforce it. Then it worked.

(Just trying to warn of a disaster)

I talk in brackets (a bit like this (sometimes multilayered) (I know it's hard to read but I sort of think like this(maybe it has something to do with being a programmer)))
