I plan on unboxing and reviewing things like Linus does. I want to be able to take short bursts like he does when pans over an item (you know what I'm talking about). I also want to be able to have one that records extraordinarily well so I can have great video capture. Just would like to know which one would be more productive for me. I know they're super close.

Probably a T3i, it already has a slight upper hand for video but adding Magic Lantern will unlock some nice features like audio settings, peaking, bitrates etc.

But great looking video really comes from great lenses, great lighting and audio hardware, this can be expensive... worth bearing in mind.

T3i is what I've got , and due to Magic lantern Canon Dslr are far more superior...even higher models from nikon as d7100 that have better sensors for photograph produce worse videos than canon.
