I was looking for some 1 x 8gb ram sticks when I found the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ARHBBPS/?tag=pcpapi-20#Ask) but then I look at the product information and it says DDR3.  So which one is it?  I was also looking for a motherboard and found the MSI Pro Series B250M Pro-VD DDR4 (https://www.amazon.com/MSI-micro-ATX-Motherboard-B250M-PRO-VD/dp/B01N9OZI64/ref=zg_bs_1048424_16?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=NB9AWCH1QCQDYRAEKJMR) but when I look at the product information it says SDRAM.  What does that mean?  Is the product page lying?  Will there be compatibility issues?  Is there another motherboard I should use instead?

1. everything (other than that one line in the spec sheet by Amazon) indicated it is DDR4, including the product number. DDR3 at 2400Mhz should be much more expensive.

2. SDRAM is 'normal desktop RAM', as opposed to SODIMM RAM, which is laptop memory (or just small memory, mostly used in laptops or very small PC's).

You will be fine with the combination.
