Moving HDD to NAS

I have a 4TB NAS drive in my daily driver and want to move it to my unRAID server and start using the NAS for backup, storage and apps is this doable? I have some but not a ton of apps already on it so if it can't be moved with its data can I clone it to a 1TB that I have? Want to also back up all my computers to this NAS and remove the large drives from these rigs figure one less heat source, any suggestions?

You can install your programs (given they have a custom install location feature) to a NAS, but I'd only do that on a gigabit connection between the two. I'd clear the drive off and then put it in the NAS.
