I'm building a Ryzen Base 1600 system

Is it worth it spending additional for 3200mhz or should I stick to 3000mhz?

depends on how much cost 3200 mhz ram adds, also if you are lucky you can overclock the 3000 ram to 3200

would you even seen any benefits other than just a more durable circuitry?
i don't believe ryzen 1600 goes up to those speeds.
 the motherboard may support the overclocking but you probably would just be punishing your wallet since the cpu would be the bottleneck.

but meh... that's just my two cents.

i went with DDR4 2133 in my 6600k because that's all the cpu will as far as ram speeds

Than no. You can OC your memory just a bit. but 25 USD is not worf it in performance. Just put that torts a better gpu or a bigger SSD

 

@thejewcanoe Yes and no. if amd says its competebol than yes, if not its a 50/50 chance. If its baste on Samsung how ever i think its gone work 90% of the time

For me i went for 3200 over 3000 since the right sticks for Ryzen were all high ends costing 180/200 euros.
Found a kit that was 3200 running at the speed with Ryzen as it stands while my previous 3000 kit barely made 2800.

It’s $17 man.  Skip lunch 3 days and buy what you want.
