100% 1080 TI?

I'm playing player unknown and my you keeps jumping to 100% and getting to about 72 degrees Celsius. Is this normal?

with the amount of info you give - yes.

 

otherwise... whats your CPU, resolution, fps, graphics settings?

I get a similar temp after playing for a few hours, same game same GPU.  It's not particularly hot so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Just have everything maxed showdowns down. 1440p

72c is a great gpu temp, 82c is when it starts to throttle itself and 90c+ is when you need to be worried.

pubg is relatively new don't be surprised if you get 100% spikes.

ive heard some are not able to get above 100fps on 1440p res so that speaks much... or so

Doing gpu stuff uses the gpu, Being at 100% is where it should be, especially for a current game. Regardless of settings, that res alone with make a card sweat.

yes, thats completely normal. I get around 100-140fps with medium settings 1440p and gpu also on 100%
