Okay so im swapping to Ryzen from intel and have to upgrade to Windows 10. Does it matter which version of Windows i go to? I read something that home wouldnt work with all the cores. im not fully sure on this and want to make sure before i commit to home or pro and then find out i either spent too much money for something i dont need, or went cheap and cant fully use all my CPU.

It doesn't really matter which version of windows 10 you use....as long as its not a lite version you can use either home or pro.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Windows 10 Home will be perfectly fine with regard to CPU cores for your use case.

The only benefits for Pro that you are likely to care about are BitLocker and Hyper V support.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
