Ryzen 5 & gtx 1050ti Hard Drive Failed lol

Just got the ram through the post here, turned the pc on and it posted! YEY

 

But then a buzzing noise started coming from the hard drive that i had lying around from an old pc.

Tried a laptop hard drive and the noise went away. So now I have to get another one tomorrow lol.

 

ONE THING... When I booted through the laptop hdd it went through, when I tried to adjust the Resolution for my ultrawide 2560x1080 lg monitor windows wouldn't let me and limited me to 1920x1080.

Is it a driver thing? I didnt install drivers as I'm getting a new hard drive tomorrow

Yes it is most likely a driver issue
