By now all should support AM4. BeQuiet SilentLoop 240 and NZXT Kraken X52 V2 definitely support it.

Unless your case can't fit a NH-D15 I don't see why you would get an AIO here. It's quieter and preforms on par with several much more expensive and way louder 240mm AIOs and 120mm AIOs don't make any sense beyond throwing them on GPUs

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

I got an NZXT X62 AIO for my R7 1700. It's a great cooler, but there's no way I need it over the stock cooler, which is actually really great even with an overclock.

I got the AIO purely for asthetics, the fact it cools better is a bonus, but I don't need it at all really. If you have the money and don't mind go for it, but you don't need it and that money could be better spent elsewhere most likely.

CPU: R7 1700 @ 3.7GHz - GPU: Asus 1080 Ti STRIX - RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz - MB: ASUS X370 Crosshair VI Hero - Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 2x140mm AIO - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD - Case: Phanteks P400s Tempered Glass - Monitor: LG - 34UM88C 34.0" 3440x1440 KEYBOARD: Leopold FC660M ISO (MX blues) & Tai Hao Cement/Lavender keycaps

I had an old H100i (not the v2) lying around which was out of the box compatible with AM4. All of the Cool-it based Corsair AIO's mount to AM4 using the clip method. The Asetek based coolers (half of the Corsair line, NZXT Kraken, etc) which were released prior to AM4 need a bracket, which can typically be ordered from the AIO manufacturer which may cause a small delay.

The Silent Loop 240 sounds very good, but I've read a lot of costumer reviews, complaining about loud pump noises after only a week usage. Is this true?

I don´t know. I don´t have one. But a Silent Loop with a loud pump needs to be RMA´d. They get refined over time so one you buy now might not suffer from that anymore
