Pre-Build PC recommendations

I'm trying to convince my dad to get a new computer for the family( not me ) because the one we have is slow and horrible. He won't budge to make a decision because the recommendations I've made were meh to him.

-He wants an all in one set including the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and PC.

-Budget is $300. It can be near the $400 range if it's worthy. But I would want it to be in the $300 range

-Uses: Internet browsing, watching TV shows, work

I'm aware that it'd be the best option to build the computer instead getting a pre-build one, but my dad doesn't want to go through the hassle(or at least that's what I believe right now).
