PC Problems, please help

My sister who is living 6 hours away is having computer problems, lets try and troubleshoot without being able to fiddle with it too much, i have her on the other end, so basic computer stuff x3

"I left it on all night to download steins gate, couldn't even turn it off it was so slow. I try to turn it on and it can even boot" -My Sister

She says it boots into the BIOS perfectly fine, so that leads me to believe its a harddrive issue, i'll post the specs down below.

 

CPU: FX-4100 (Wellllll used)

Motherboard: GA-78LMT-usb3

Ram: Single Generic 8gb 'Crucial' Chip

GPU: r5 200 series (i think)

Powersupply: EVGA 500w Bronze

Harddrive: Unknown, really old, likely 5200 or 7200 rpm
