Hi i have an asus gtx 1060 oc that i just bought and have 5 monitors im looking at installing but before i purchase them, is it possible to do. I know it has 4 physical ports but i've heard around that it still only supports 4 so do/can i use the motherboard port considering only 3 displays will be for gamingand 2 will be for editing and other smaller tasks like movies. My cpu is an i5 4670 and and motherboard is a h81m+ thank you and please get back to me. Ilove you and all you do

why 5 monitors?

you should be able to use all 4 ports on your GPU, and you should be able to plug in one into your motherboard to get a display output too. thanks intel and laptops with display output!

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

You would just need to enable the iGPU in the bios thats it just like @Himommies said and why do you need 5 displays?

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

It's under onboard devices the last time I tried doing that but it varies mobo by mobo

If you can’t get it working through the motherboard port (I know mine doesn’t) you could always use your old gpu (if you have it) to run some of your other monitors

Unfortunately my mobo doesn't have 2 PCIe slots so that can't happen but what happening with yours? Does your cpu not have an iGPU?

It does but I think my mobo just doesn’t let you use the ports if you have a gpu in. Who knows it might and I just haven’t realized.
