So im deciding out of these two Intel dropped out of the race becouse of just 4 cores with main stream suff and ryzen is nice and cheap (this might change with the new intel line up)

Ryzen 5 1600 With gtx 1080ti

Or

ryzen 7 1700 with gtx 1080 for like 100€ cheaper than the other rig

im looking ofr 4-5years Medium/High with newest games with a 1080p monitor

im only looking for playable frame rates when the gpu is getting older

and what about coffee lake would it drop the ryzen prices

and is the gtx 1080ti´s price going to drop in the next 30-40days

like i mean a small price drop like 10-20€

im going to concider coffeelake when it comes out but it relly needs to reck ryzen to make me buy a intel processor

i hate that The socket changes EVERY FREAKING TIME!! >:(

and also i have the chance to upgrade the ryzen 5 1600 in 2years if amd continues to use am4 socket like they promised

Socket is going to be 1151 but you need a new board, because screw customers :D

If you're only gaming at 1080p then the GTX 1080 will be plenty but if you plan to move to 144Hz 1440p in the future, go with the 1080Ti.
